Welcome, Welkom, Aloha, Bienvenue to a travel site with a bit of bite!

My name is Jess and this blog has been created by myself and my new-found friend, Bella. I met Bella, who is doing an internship for a mag in Sydney, when I flew up from Melbourne for work experience for the same publication.

As the workie (work experience gal), I was at the bottom of the office food chain and Bella was just above, sitting a little more comfortably in her internship position. So as you can imagine, jobs such as photocopying and coffee runs, required little brain strain and a lot of time for talk.

Travelling was our common ground having both recently returned from epic European and American backpacking adventures. While discussing sauve European men and bed bugs from hostels, our joint assignment for the magazine was to trawl through loads of blogs and find interesting and successful pages created by women.

Ding! Ding! Ding! Lightbulbs! Fireworks! A blog begins for past and future adventures to be shared by two aspiring writers, Bella and Jess.

Expect to read about the daily ritual of devouring croissants in Paris, bars to hang out in Melbourne, roadtrips from Sydney to Byron and in July, I'll be heading to the South of France to sail the Mediterrean Sea with a crew of Parisian men! Sounds dreamy ey? Well FOLLOW THE PLACES WE GO!
